The Los Angeles tote arrives the way good carryalls always do — slung over a shoulder, slightly slouched, holding more than it should. Two-tone non-woven fabric gives it a softened, lived-in finish, while the externally stitched handles drop to 615mm, falling somewhere between hand-carry and shoulder-sling. A generous 125mm base gusset means it swallows a laptop, a water bottle, the day's accumulated paperwork, and still keeps its shape.
At 80gsm, the fabric has enough body to stand upright on a desk yet folds away into a coat pocket between uses. It is the bag that gets pulled from the bottom of a tote drawer at the supermarket, taken to the weekend market, lent to a friend and never quite returned. Which is, of course, the point. Conference delegates leave with one slung over a shoulder, and the logo travels home, then to the gym, then to the beach — long after the keynote has been forgotten.
