Picture it on a sunlit desk at lunchtime — the soft oat-coloured base, the bamboo lid catching the light, a silicone band holding everything just so. Someone unclips it, and inside is the lunch they made themselves that morning. Quietly, it has replaced the takeaway container, the soft plastic, the daily small guilt.
The body is a fifty-fifty blend of wheat straw fibre and BPA-free polypropylene. Wheat straw is what's left after the harvest — usually burned in the field, releasing carbon for no good reason. Here it becomes something with a decade of lunches ahead of it. The bamboo lid pushes on, secured with a silicone band, and because bamboo is grown rather than manufactured, each lid carries its own grain, its own faint variation in tone. No two arrive identical, which is rather the point.
Measuring 140 x 200 x 69mm, the box arrives in an unbleached cardboard gift box — the whole presentation honest, considered, low on theatre. Handwash only. Branding is pad print up to 50 x 50mm in one position, or full-colour direct digital for those who want their logo to sing. Available in natural, from 50 units, with a two to three week lead time. A conference gift that earns its place in the kitchen drawer, not the bin.
